This carseat was exactly as described and it came neatly packaged. My Pomeranian is only 8 pounds so this is the perfect size for him. I would say this would be good for dogs up to 25 pounds. I love that it has the attachment to connect to their collar or harness (I recommend using a harness) and there are several ways to secure it to your cars seat. Unfortunately my cars backseat doesn't have a headrest which is what it's meant to be connected to so I had to rig it to make it secure it my car. I used the front strap and wrapped it around my passenger front seat headrest and then put the back one twisted tight around the seatbelt behind the carseat and put the seat belt in its holder. The part thats supposed to connect to the headrest I just folded back behind the carseat. It's not perfect this way but it works. I like that it has a front zipper pocket too. I put a towel down inside in case my puppy goes to the bathroom I can just wash the towel which would be much easier than cleaning the carseat. Word to the wise, dogs are much safer in the backseat vs the front seat of cars. Think of it this way, would you put a baby in the front seat? No, so a dog shouldn't be put there either. Put the carseat in the backseat behind the passenger seat so you can easily look back to see what your dog is upto. I recommend this carseat and feel that it was a great value. At the petstores they are more than double this price and they don't arrive on your front porch!
